Is is safe to talk yet???

Hopefully PG has watched the show already by now. Just in case, I won't mention any names. Without even realizing it, they voted out the person with the strongest alliance with people who were now on the other tribe. I can't believe they actually voted out the probable right person for once! Actuall...

I really liked the season opener about Betty's Bees too.

I've read everything she's written except the non-fiction and I totally agree about the language. It's the one thing that I don't care for in her writing. I'm a fan nonetheless. I also agree with MrDanger in that I think her earlier works are better than the past few.

I voted "other" because I really like a combination of several of the choices. I love Israel Houghton and Martha Munizzi, but I also enjoy Chris Tomlin, as well as the old faithfuls like "Victory in Jesus". I lead worship in a church that has such a range of people that I have to...

"The Professor"

I was pleasantly surprised that the physics teacher was received positively by his tribe. I was afraid for him when he was introduced, but when he climbed up on the roof of that hut.....I think that changed his course in the game. He really wowed them. Good for him! Of course it didn't hurt that his...

SNL spoofs Sarah Palin

Did anyone see this? My husband and I thought Tina Fey was fantastic as Sarah Palin. Funny stuff...actually makes you feel sorry for Hillary (a little bit...).

My son has an 80 GB IPod Classic and the other day I let him download Stargate Atlantis: Season 2. He got the entire season with plenty of memory left, cost less than DVDs in the store, and he can watch it wherever he goes. He has The Bourne Supremacy on there as well. I think movies are around $9.9...

JF turned in his credentials several years ago because Free Chapel Gainesville is Congregational Holiness and the COG minutes states something like their ordained ministers can have no allegiance to any church other than the COG (paraphrasing, not sure exactly what it says). He did take over a COG i...

Glory Bugles

I also like their version of "If Your Hair's Too Long", but my favorite is "If John the Baptist Used the King James Version, Then It's Good Enough For Me". Go to www.glorybugles.com to hear audio clips. Very funny stuff.

The Bride of Christ?

I think I was there that year. It seems to me that during the youth march that year they had a dummy/mannequin attached to a pole, dressed in a wedding dress, holding a church flag, that they carried around. It was a little surreal. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Agreed!

I'm not typically a homeopathic-type girl, but Dolfan and Dewayne are right. The ear candle and the sinus flush both work. My son is a testimony (kicking and screaming, but a testimony nonetheless).

I have a linksys router and I have to open the router's program and go to add a device, it then tells me the key to use. Then I go to the computer I'm trying to connect, tell it to detect the wireless network, then enter the key when asked to do so. I have 2 desktop computers with USB wireless netwo...

Prayer request

My son, age 7 at the time, requested prayer for me in children's church one Sunday. He said, "Pray for my mom, she's been saying a lot of bad words lately." Not being able to resist, the leader asked him what I had said. He said, "The "s" word." She asked him what was t...
