Lola's on the mend! She's still got a long road, but we are on the backside of the mountain!
She will start bottle feeding soon and get her chest tube out.

Continued prayers are needed. We still won't have the report about her immune system until Friday or next week.

The power of prayer has been amazing!!! Lola is off the ventilator and is doing AMAZING!! She is resting now. Thank u all for all they prayers keep them coming

She's off! She's doing great! It wore her out, but she's not sedated anymore and only on Tylenol for pain!

They did the test run with the ventilator. She did good. Waiting for rounds to determine type of excavation and chest X-ray to make sure her lungs not collapsing!

Update thursday 1/15/15: Good news first! EEG is clear. Brain waves are normal, no seizures. She's still having crazy episodes with blood pressure and heart rate they switched her sedation again because she's continuing to break through. She seems to be resting better with the new one. The Moved Lola to Duke Hospital this afternoon. They ran some more test, ultrasound etc. Going to speak with Surgeon in the am to set a course of treatment. She was stable this afternoon.

Sweet Lola is being transferred tonight or in the morning to Duke. She is going to have a procedure on her left lung. Some of the pneumonia has formed hard pockets and they have to be broken up so she can get better.
