Very good thought about nuclear man. Very good thought.

I love the show. The hour just goes so fast. I think there are too many commercials compared to other shows though.

I was really hoping though that HRG would of brought the painting guy's power out without drugs though. I thought that was a bummer.

The politicians little brother who is discovering his flying abilities is able to paint the future w/o the drugs. Remember he did that a couple of episodes ago. As for the artist, i too was hoping he would paint without the heroin, but at the same time I think the writers wanted to bring out that Mr Bennet will still do anything to get his way.

Good thought about Mr Bennett, hadn't thought of him as the creator of Syler but it makes sense.

From the get-go we've all thought of HRG as the bad guy so it would be a pretty neat twist if he's actually going to be the Professor X of this operation.

One other thing - I really liked the addition of the waitress. I hope Hiro is successful - it appears he was.

I liked the way Hiro's persona changed througout the episode. He was the bubbly person all giddy while helping the waitress learn Japanese, yet when he was talking about going back in time to save her it was like he was maturing onscreen.

I have to admit, that if I were Bennett, I'd do the same thing to save my daughter. I always thought he was just using Claire, but it does seem that he really does care for her.

Interesting thought about Bennett creating Sylar. I also think you are right about Nuclear guy destroying NY. I don't think he would do it intentionally though. I wonder if Sylar somehow forces him to do it or fools him into doing it.

I wonder what the Indian guy's role is going to be in all of this.

The waitress is great. Hope Hiro can save her and add her to the team. She could sort of be like the Oracle of the team. Unlike Oracle, though, she wouldn't be tied down to computers. The computer is in her head.

Actually, didn't one of the first two episodes mention that Mohinder's father is the one who encouraged Sylar to use his power's or something like that?

I always watch the show online during my lunch break. I am in the middle of watching last weeks show right now. At the beginning of the show, I had never paid attention to who does the music for the show. At least for this past Mondays episode, the music is written by Lisa Coleman and Wendy Melvoin.

In case you don't know who they are, that is Wendy and Lisa from Prince and the Revolution (as seen in the movie "Purple Rain". I had heard they were doing the music for "Crossing Jordan". One thing they try to do is write some specific music that is used every episode and then the majority of the music you hear each week is written just for that episode. I thought that was pretty cool. They watch the finished product and then write music to what the see and "feel".

Cool info, Jeff. Just please don't ruin it for me by saying Morris Day and the Time will be contributing in the future.

Looking forward to the episode tonight. I refrain from reading reviews to spoil things but I did see a headline that said "Best episode!!!" So I'm intrigued.

Just saw this article:

As exclusively reported by TV Guide magazine, none other than George Takei has been cast as the father of Heroes' Star Trek-obsessed Hiro. "It was one of those lightning-bolt ideas," series creator Tim Kring tells TV Guide. Adds Masi Oka, who plays Hiro, "This is absolutely brilliant! I just hope I get to say, 'Dad! Sulu is my hero, not you!'"

I hope they saved the right cheerleader last night. :D Pretty heroic night for Peter, although I think he's in for some trouble ahead in jail. Maybe he can get Niki's ex to come see him so he can mooch his ability to walk through walls.

I know Claire's dad probably won't lift a finger to help Peter get out of his immenent legal trouble, but don't you think Claire will? After all, she has a good moral compass and he saved her life.

I like Claire more and more every episode. She really is a hero.

Great episode last night. I must have previously missed it when Peter discovered that he aborbed the power of others. I knew he could "fly" and he painted with the artist. Does he retain their power indefinately?
Yes, he does seem to be headed for much legal trouble.

Peter's brother does seem to get creepier all the time.
