Don Thomas turns 90

Some of you know my great uncle Don Thomas was overseer of South Dakota back in the day. He now lives in Nebraska with his son Keith and daughter in law Pat.

Angie and I are flying up to Kansas tomorrow to Kansas to check up on our grandma and then driving over for a birthday celebration for Uncle Don. Quite an accomplishment. Took him 90 years to achieve it.

(Uncle Don would appreciate that corny joke).

shoot, wish I woulda known sooner, I'd drive over. Bishop Endecott of the Council Bluffs COGOP is a great friend of mine and Don has frequented our regional men's meetings.

He was my overseer in Minnesota back in the days, and Pat (his daughter-in-law) is my cousin. Please give him my best. A wonderful man of God.

I love Don Thomas......now Keith ......that is another story...lololol

Your grandma made my shirts when I was with Harrison Price.....I still have them .....they have lasted for 50 years!

Just an update for those interested.

We had a wonderful time with the family yesterday. Uncle Don seemed overwhelmed with emotion some of the time. They had pictures from different times in their.

Keith and Pat did a wonderful job with the event. I had not seen some of the family in a lot of years and was shocked at how much Loretta looked like Aunt Pearl.

They had a typed up biography of Uncle Don's life that he had written. If any of you were interested in it, just send me a PM and give me your address and I will mail you a copy.

Dr Ron, Bro. Pruitt, Dan, the family was shocked by me giving you their greetings and were so happy to hear from each of you. They wanted me to give each of you their love.

Dr. Ron, you may be interested in talking to Keith and hearing the testimony of what God is doing with the church they are at. May sound a little familiar to you. Different path, but familiar story.

Dan, Mike PROMISED ME to email you. He said he was missing keeping in touch with you and would email soon.
