The second and last time I was at Wrigley Field, I was with Phil Hoover. Four drunk guys about ten seats down started to harrass Phil.

Phil! Phil is a funny guy and sometimes very missed. Nice of you to stick up for him. He seems to bring the ire up in some people!

I have found that if you are in a place where you have the choice to change seats you are better off to just move once you see what is happening. There are many places where you do not have that option because either there are no more good seats available or you have assigned seats. If there are a whole group of kids together the chances of the behavior improving is doubtful. If it is just a couple of people you can usually kindly ask them to behave and they will but kids are pack animals and the bad behavior generally wins out.

If you complain enough in a theater the kids will be asked to behave better or to leave.

Actually, I disagree that kids are pack animals... I think they will respond to polite, firm, and friendly requests better than we expect, even in a group.
