Danny,

In a sense, I basically agree with you. However, to me there is the question as to under what conditions one rejects the power of the Holy Ghost, who is the One Who would draw them to repentance and forgiveness if they were not rejecting Him. I give warnings against this, but I never tell an individual that he has committed this sin.

For something that is so ...... definitively unforgiveable, we sure have a hard time defining what it is!!

Shepherd, I think you are referring to Eager Beaver and not me (Danny).

I am on the Q&S Committee and what is said here about our report is a false rumor which is being spread by Danny on the internet. Even if he were misinformed, he delights in malicious slander against TCOG. In this post, he makes a pretense of not wanting to be involved in this. Danny, if you don't want to be involved, don't post about it on the worldwide web. This is sheer hypocrisy on your part.

Remember the words of Gameliel that if this be not of God, it will come to naught, but if it is of God, to fight it, is to fight against God. I was not in New Mexico, but I believe the testimony that one of the babies was raised from the dead. What about it readers, do you believe God raises the dead? Jesus did. He commanded the apostles to raise the dead. I was not in New Mexico and I cannot testify that this happened, but I would be afraid to speak against it, lest I blaspheme against the Holy Ghost. Be careful, folks.

I didn't spread the rumor brother, your fellow bishops and minsters did and if THE CHURCH OF GOD can't stop their own members from talking then don't come rebuking me because to me your license is a piece of paper. Sure you are called of God but you are not a bishop in any exclusive organization and you sure don't have a leg up on me with Christ. My Bible reads the same way yours does and it says Jesus is MY ADVOCATE among other things. The difference between you and I is that you rebuke the world for their sins, failures, etc. while ignoring those things in their own colleagues the whole while hugging and fellowshipping with them while they shout, speak in tongues, and dance.

You are dodging the questioned. Right now in the United States, doctors are saying that if one has the swine flu, that they should not be out in the public until they have been fever-free without medication for 24 hours. I consider that as a form of quarantine.

Good for you. Have you been around your sick grandson? Did you then go to the GA? Shame on you then!

How long does it take the CDC to test and see if an individual has H1N1? It's about a two week process so either your dead or better before they really know if you have the "Swine Flu".

Today a coworker and I were at a local hospital to do a job. While entering the elevator my coworker said his daughter was not feeling well this morn and she was coughing (the most important symptom as reported by the news yesterday). Mike said i think she has the swine flu. Well it just so happened that my doc was also on that elevator. I turned to him and he snickered. He sure didn't say quarantine her, how dare you come out in public, etc.

Should I cozy up here in my office and not go near my six children until I see whether Mike's daughter actually has/had it or not?

Now did Stephen Smith ask anyone with the "standard" flu to avoid the "healing" line? What about the common cold, chicken pox, HPV (toilet seats are nasty), poison ivy, etc.?

I seem to remember that the week after the assembly most everyone was sick due to the sicknesses and germs that were spread around all week. I suppose R. Pruitt dropped the ball during his tenure.

One Love, I never remember reading where CoG/CoGoP ever cancelled an assembly due to the flu. I remember the weather caused one to be cancelled but maybe my memory fails me.

------------------------------

So are we back to the babies were both born alive and then one died because some self righteous folks including S. smith's own wife REFUSED to call 911? I heard that the guilty parties admitted at the GA to a certain someone that had they called 911 then the father would not have gotten to hold the child in his arms as it died but rather it would have died as the EMS worked on him.

Did the Q7S commend Smith for his letter to the newspaper saying TCOG doesn't teach against docs and meds? Was there any explanation as to why such a letter had to be written in the first place?

Did Smith say in his annual address that divine healing is not medicine (paraphrasing) and that there was no middle of the road much like a total abstinence against alcohol means no drinking period?

--------------------------------------

What's the scoop on the woman that fell out in the healing line, EMS was called, she was shocked, and then taken to the hospital? Why was she not allowed to die? Why did she not get healed by the exclusive ministry of God? I mean come on folks, if the ministry of God's only true church can't heal us then we are all going to have to get use to being sick without the hope of divine healing. BTW, who called 911?
I have piped unto you, and ye have not danced!

I thought that maybe he was referring to me.

Most of my COGOP friends and acquaintances (everyone in ND) knew me as "Danny Bagley".

So, he may have picked that up from someone along the way.

But, perhaps it was wishful thinking that we might agree on something.
God Bless You

Danny,

What can I say? We are guilty, guilty, guilty! Even your mother-in-law was right in the middle of the ordeal as a key player. A state overseer's wife was the first one to call 911 quicker than anyone else could have. I was in charge of the service. The first thing I did was to go back to where the lady was and ask others if she had family there. I then immediately told her son-in-law that even though people were praying in faith that the family needed to make some serious decisions as to how critical they considered her to be and what should be done. I then found out that a call had already been made to 911. All of this happened very quickly. I went back up to the microphone on stage and asked the congregation to pray for her. We are guilty! Everyone we pray for is not healed. To God be all the glory for those who were healed. What would you have done? I welcome any advice as to how I could better handle it next time. Bishop Smith had absolutely nothing to do with this. He was in the pool baptizing people.

I was responding to Dan Bagley.

You may not have started the rumor, but you did spread it on the internet. If a TCOG minister or member told you this, then, yes, they are just as guilty, no less or no more, than you are. I was not rebuking you on the basis of my license, but rather as a member of the Q&S Committee who was being falsely accused. Our report is a matter of record.
