To all you Viet Nam vets!!!! I salute you! Thank you for giving of yourselves in the most distastedfull war in our history. You were not honored as you should have been.
What an honor it was for me to shake the hand of TW at the GA. A hero in my eyes for sure. Corpsmen and medics are the angels of the military! They are beyond belief!
My step dad is Chief Master Sgt./USAF Retired. He is one of the few men I know who served in WWll, Korea, and Viet Nam. and all the little things in between. He is a great American hero!

I served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1974 including a short tour in Vietnam. It is one of those "wouldn't take anything for the experience/wouldn't do it again for anything" experiences.
Interesting aside: a young man from my church completes Missionary-Church Planters school in Singapore next month and plans to head to the mountains of Vietnam by choice!
