You are very right there-In America, last time I checked it is still "innocent until proved guilty."

Just pray for them....this is a hard time for them.

Amen.

That's the theory at least. The truth is that there are different kinds of conviction in our society, There is the legal conviction, which occurs in a court of law, and then there is the conviction of public opinion. Public opinion can be even more damaging to a persons life than a legal conviction. However neither of these bears any weight upon the judgement of God. I have my own opinion of the Oral Roberts Ministry, but it is an opinion. I'll leave the final judgement to God, and I'll pray for His mercy upon all of us.

In a court of law, that's true. Another right we have in America is the right to have, and state our own opinions. I have mine, I will state them, and I stand by them.

oral Roberts University Scandal

Hey dajudge...don't mind the opinion at all. You certainly have a right to have one , express one, and enjoy seeing the response from it.

I was not talking about that... I was talking about a judgemental attitude without having all the facts.

I think it unwise and illogical to express an opinion without the facts to back it up. Do you not feel this as well????

But hey, you have the right to criticize anyone anytime for anything whether it hurts them or their influence or not.....in other words to shoot the wounded..... but that is your , as Hillary would put it...."your God given right",

I still love you even if , in my opinion , you are wrong.

There are definitely victims here. I'm just not so sure they are Richard and his wife.

Larry King had Richard and Lindsay Roberts on his show tonight. I thought they did a credible job answering the charges against them. Whether or not Richard is a 'shyster' or not, I have no opinion. I only evaluate a ministry by the influence it has on me, not how the rest of the world is affected. I can't read their influence beyond beyond my own back yard.

Dr. Ron, these new allegations do not exist in a vacuum. I base my opinion not solely on the new info, but also from decades of observations of how Richard and Oral have operated over the years.
