I was raised in cogop and my parents worked at General HQ. My father hosted Voice of salvation. There were many awful things that transpired so we moved back here. My father was tremendously effected by the things he saw take place there. He stopped going to church altogether for years but now is attending a church. Just the mention of cogop puts him in a bad mood. He feels very, well I will just say he does not believe the way we do (TCOG) yet he was very close to M.A. Tomlinson and Brohter Pruitt. Of course he had many other friends at that time but what he saw and realized effected his opinion of many of those people. My mom and us continued to go to cogop for a few years then she left, never to return. From there I went to many churches with her and COG in Va beach was one.
I lived in sin for a long time, after was saved I started attending TCOG here. The wonderful thing was going through my parents bookshelves and finding all kinds of old writings and recordings of vos.
I am now a pastor in TCOG.
Well that is my story without going into to much detail, so not to offend anyone here, May God Bless you

grew up Methodist, got saved moved to the Baptist church, went to college, my girlfriend (now wife) tricked me into going to a CoG, we joined and stepped into ministry, were a couple weeks from getting my license and was given the opportunity to pastor in the CoGoP, We had seen it coming, and knew it was God, so we dropped the work I'd done towards CoG licenseing, and started interm pastoring in the CoGoP while working on my license, and have been in the CoGoP ever since.
