Might I remind you that Christians are probably better off without the friendships or so called friendships of dictators and governments in general. Constantine comes to mind right off the bat. I'm sure persecution stinks and I am glad I have not had to face any but it comes with the territory when you live amongst a nation of heathens.

From this post it is very plain and evident you do not know at all what you are talking about.
Persecution Stinks !! it comes with the territory !! That the best you can do. ?

I have been in areas where churches have been burned to the ground. I've talked to some of our pastors who have had to flee from home and family to keep from being killed. I've been with pastors whose stomach was cut to ribbons as they fled for their lives over walls laced with shards of Glass. I have had my Friend and his family including their 4 children burned to death by muslims as the government looked the other way.. Tell his family it would not have been better if a Government that at least gave consideration to Christians would have been in power.

Tell that to the villages in India that was attacked last week and churches burned and Christians killed because they were celebrating Christmas. As the Hindu givernment looked the other way and did nothing. Your better off without any government interference, even if it might has saved the lives of some christian.

IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PERSECUTION STINKS !!!!!! NO KIDDING
You cannot effectively love and minister to others when you are obsessed with protecting
and preserving yourself.

Sounds like a wonderful place to live, a great Christian supporting government, and sure enough as you said Musharaf is against terrorism. These acts that you have described are acts of terror and one's faith really has nothing to do with it except that the extreme Muslims aren't attacking their own mosques. Are you pretending that other Muslims are not being persecuted in Pakistan?

The events you have described sound much like some things that have happened in the south such as church burnings. Ministers have been shot down here also.
When I said it goes with the territory I meant that anyone who has read the Bible and researched the Christian faith would know that persecution is a part of what a Christian will face. Jesus, Peter, James, John, and Paul just to name a few of the major Biblical characters suffered great persecution so in my mind I would have to understand that death and such goes with the territory. Does that make it easier? Heck no!

So as you have described the persecution and the situations surrounding Christians in Pakistan I would say doesn't sound like Musharaf or the government is too friendly with the kingdom of God. How can you suggest such? To those that had their churches burnt to the ground was Musharaf a good, Christian supporting president? Those that had their churches burnt or better yet the people that were burned to death, did you console the families by saying that Musharaf is your friend, it could be worse!
I have piped unto you, and ye have not danced!
