[rant]Okay -- I am pretty ticked right now.

I waited all day to get settled in and watch the end of the entire season of Survivor. I stop in here to check posts at 6:13 PM my time and see you have posted a stinking spoiler! Hello!!!???

Do you not know that some of us don't LIVE in Eastern and Central time zones and intentionally avoid radio news broadcasts so we don't hear who won til we see it???!!!

man.

PLEASE -- for the thousandth time: there is a whole lot of America west of you, and we see the shows you watch 6 HOURS LATER, people... 6 HOURS.

Do NOT post show results here until the next day.

Don't make me come over there...

What did you expect to see!!!!???
Wait til you see the surprise!
The planned surprise is stupid, but the other surprise was pretty cool. 8)

BTW, is that "rant" bracket actually supposed to do something? It doesn't show up on my Office XP.

Oh, I don't know; could it be because I MODERATE the board and couldn't imagine anyone would be braindead enough to have so little consideration for the rest of the planet that they would ruin an entire season of a favorite show because it was bedtime at their house?? Cheese-Louise!

Oh, I don't know; could it be more of the same stuff that has been here up to that point? Maybe?

That rant bracket was caused by me banging my forehead ont eh keyboard in shock and anguish, and it does nothing.

A few years ago when Kentucky won the National title, I taped it and watched it after church that night w/o anyone telling me who won. I was living like you were last night...with anticipation.
Then my dad called. I saw him on the caller ID and when I picked up the phone I immediately said.."DONT TELL ME!!"
So I can understand what you feel.
BTW, what do you think about the unexpected surprise? Did you see that coming?
And finally, you do have 3 other backup moderators. I still say you didnt have to look.

Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

Hey, I didn't say anything!
I was just trying to understand why it would be easy to not think about the time difference.
We all live in our own little "world" and sometimes people just forget.
I just don't think it was on purpose.... perhaps just a slip. ...ask your spoiler.

It was Brother Murray who once said if you want to see who is in control get up in the middle of your favorite TV show turn it off and spend some time with God.
What we need here is a good revival! lol

When the season first began, I heard it was going to come down to Rob and Amber, who would be thick as thieves. I heard this before the first person was voted off. Someone posted a spoiler list on a website and it correctly predicted Jenna leaving because of her mother and various other turning points.

I shouldn't have read it but I did save me a lot of video tape over the course of the season. :D

survivornews.net is a site that predicted that as well. I don't go there very often b/c they do have spoilers. They hit it pretty well dead on most of the time if not all the time.

Yeah, this entire thread ruined the end of the season for me. I couldn't tell by the title of the thread what it was about, and I looked at it before I knew what I was doing... and I am SEVERAL shows behind. I have them taped and had planned to watch them this week.

BUT, I saw the final four on this poll, and then today (my fault) I looked in here and saw the winner.

So now I have to watch about three final shows and I know the end.

IT STINKS. After spending the entire year making it a family kind of event, it's spoiled in a way... but it will still be interesting I suppose... and my little boy doesn't know the end, so it will be a surprise to him still.

Hey, add it to the list. Life is full of disappointments. Even my one-hour escape from reality is not exempt it appears.

Forgiveness granted. Learn from it and move on. I realize you didn't do it on purpose -- no malicious intent -- but out of not realizing the impact for others. Those are the best learned lessons, to me.

And don't mess up...

any of those Bachelor shows
the Amazing Race

or any event with a cliff-hanger outcome eagerly awaied by people in other timezones!
