I have liked him thus far but are you saying that this is true:

1. posed for a nude photo (we would have all used that against martha had that come out

2. he supports abortion?? please tell me that is not true I have not read that anywhere. That would greatly disturb me.

3. He supports gay marriage?

If these are true then he is not really a republican/conservative but more a conservative on spending and more liberal on moral issues. Please tell me this is false.
I am just trying to not be biased long party lines. We holler NO ABORTION etc.... then we are partying over a "possible" supporter of it?? I am still glad he is there even if this is all true just because of his views on spending/taxes etc. I hope these accusations are not true. I saw him being promoted all over the news and radio that he was a true conservative and stood for those principles. Almost reagan style...Hope that was not a biased report.

1. Is it really nude? Not going here.

What his website states:
2. Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.

3. Marriage
I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. States should be free to make their own laws in this area, so long as they reflect the people's will as expressed through them directly, or as expressed through their elected representatives.

And finally again to the broader point.. look at what BROWN did for the Nation. This is really about what Brown did and will go down in the history books. His election pushed AWAY the most radical ideas and brings them swinging back kicking and screaming... closer to center and right.

Don't miss the overall message. Sure we might disagree on some issues to the complete extent as we will with everyone.

Calling it posing for a "nude" is a bit overexaggerated to me, but neither here nor there.

No, I don't agree with him on some of his policies but he is most definitely the lesser of two evils. I'm pretty sure he's never killed a young girl and had no worries doing it.

Point is...he's a republican seat that we desperately needed.

He strikes me as a classical liberal, I could be wrong, but certainly different than the right wing progressives in the GOP.

Mac and shellie I agree totally however that position on Abortion is left. I have not seen any photo yet and dont wont to I will take your word for it.
I was hoping we maybe had a candidate with a bigger future but the abortion stand would kill that. He will be a great asset in Mass. and I am HAPPY about it. Thank you for answering those MACUSER

I complete enjoyed this small victory last night. Especially when Obama flew in on Air Force 1 and campaigned like a mad man for the Democrat...

And Scott Brown drove in on his person high mileage pickup truck and took the election via landslide especially considering it was Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat. The Democratic LION of the Senate. A state that Obama carried during his election by over 20 points.

Apparently Obama isn't the messiah any longer, eh?
Fantastic. Thanks Brown.. you delivered for me!!

By the way, who stormed the White House with guns?

There is a historical account of Congress being surrounded by an angry, gun yielding mob. True, it was the Continental Army that had just overthrown the British and they wanted their paychecks. It was ok then, got the job done, and Congress ought to remember that.
