A question: is there some place on the premises for storage? Church seem to accumulate lots of random stuff and seldom have a designated place large enough to store things.

Christmas decorations, supplies, props for skits, things left from the last fundraiser... the piles grow and grow, and take over space. If I were planning and building a new facility I'd insist upon a LARGE storage place, preferable with a rollup or garage door and loading dock height.

Pastor Gary, You bring up a Legit subject. However..

when building a new facility you really want to keep storage to a minimum.

why you ask.. Why pay $100-$125 per sq foot which is avg cost of new building.

You can build a storage building for $20 - 30 a square foot.

We moved into our building about 2.5 years ago and last summer we built a 24 x 40 storage building behind the building with sidewalk access from the building.

But yes churches need storage...And lots of it.
