What do you think of a Pastor who....

I've been in ministry for 15 years. My wife no longer waits up and doesn't worry. If the Highway Patrol calls then she knows it's time to worry. Other then that, she totally trust me and knows that I'm probably doing something for the church or one of it's members.

And if I may add a p.s., if I was with Dr. Ron she wouldn't expect me home all night. I would pick his brain about every southern gospel group he knows and then start looking and drooling over his record collection. LOL!

Danny ain't in the ministry.

There have been a few times that he was REALLY REALLY late. I met him at the door and told him that somebody better have gotten saved. :lol:

Okay,,,,,said pastor has just now gotten to his office after being on the road since 8 this am....in and out of hospitals and the like. Said pastor stopped by to check some some things and is a very lonely dark building reading his mail ....and getting his "clock cleaned" by a disgruntled member!!!!

Having said that.....I apologize for keeping Danny out later than normal. I originally wanted to talk to him about doing a repair job on some property to make extra Christmas money and in fact he did do that job.

As for my cell number.....it is on the church answering machine...all anyone needs do is call the CHURCH and I would have answered as we were in the office hall way.....OR the machine would have given the cell number.....btw...615-424-6411.

For whatever reason, I assumed that Danny was old enough and had been married long enough to have taken care of that part of business. And I did get chewed out for staying late. by those who are my keepers.

AS for my wife, when she leaves for work on Monday mornings she kisses me and says I will see you tomorrow. She is always asleep when I get home from school, and I don't wake her. So I see her on Tuesday morning when I get up and fix her breakfast.

I won't keep him out late again......I missed the last half of Monday night football!!!!

Btw, I have a member who has tried to get on jude 2 and it says she has to have a registration number......what is that about???? Someone tell me how to instruct her....she wants to see the pics of Sunday night and maybe get involved here....

Oh well, now you can all rest.....Danny was with me and Howie...the whole time till he left the parking lot...no kidding.....

I didn't mind the talking... you can do that all you want. I was just worried not knowing that my pastor instigated the disobedience and stayed after school to talk. :wink:

I didn't think he was still at school or I would have called the church. I thought maybe it was something on the way home.
