Looking back to when I first came on here. The only time I used a computer was at work.
So being on a forum board was all new to me.
When I was first told it was where a lot of church folks gathered to share thoughts and ideas.. I thought, WOW, now, I can talk to people from different parts of the United States who think like me, who love the Lord.
Guess I was thinking it would be all peaches and cream.

I didn't expect to be challenged, to be questioned why I said what I said.
And I guess my defenses rose up.
But I have learned a lot from being on here.
I have been offended and I suppose I have offended some to which I have asked forgiveness.

To ban anyone of our family here, would be like a death to me. They would always be missed.
Gerald has NEVER said anything offensive to me. I see him as a great guy with his own opinions, his own thoughts and he is the first to rise up and speak out against anything he don't agree with. And he don't care who comes against him, for his got enough Irish in him to retaliate. :D

Like someone else who said, we have a mouse and we can do our scroll thing.
I can't believe sometimes what is said on here and the way its said, but a lot of times the typed word is not the true expressions of a person and sometimes its taken with a different intent.
I know my self, a lot of times have a hard time bringing out what I am trying to say and then its taken in the wrong way from what I expected.
I appreciate those who bare with me.

The bottom line this is home to a lot of folks, we share everything from burping baby to cooking hubbies meals. All the other in between is family discussions.
I trust PG to handle this board he has set up for all of us in a Godly manner. I'm sure he seeks God for this board, just as he does for the church God has placed him over.
He has a big job and he needs our prayers as pastor in the board.
Bro. Gary, I've learned a lot since I've been allowed to be here.

Thanks!
B.R.

Brenda,

I see a difference in you. I do not mean that condescending at all. I am just reminded of the Brenda I first met.

Glad to have the real you back. I have missed you.

Does this make sense? :D

Fight for our right to be argumentative and get on every last nerve. :D

You've been at this long enough to know that the "hurt feelings" don't last long and they always come back... well, with a few exceptions. Ahem, a few other places?

You also see as many "face" and "heel" turns on here as you do in rasslin'. This format, while allowing us to be ourselves also lends itself (maybe just writers?) to characterisation even when you have only one name to go by.

Also, as you've pointed out many times, this format does not allow for body language to be seen so perception misdirects on here. May be time for a post about assuming the best when you read a post. I wouldn't go beyond that. Then again, as others have said, it's your board. Bottom line.
That's MISTER Hello Kitty to you!!!

:D :D :D

YR,
Don't even go there! What goes on behind those computer screens is exactly why people love to use the computer!

Perhaps it would do us all good to remember that if Gerald was paying for his privileges here that he would be the only one paying anything to post here.
