DaJudge mentioned that Jude2 was slow today.. So..

In honor of Over or Under..

Make the Bed or Not Make the Bed.

Making the Bed does not include changing of the sheets etc.. Just making it pretty.. LOL. that could be another Poll..

I normally make my side of the bed every morning after I get up. My wife still has several hours of sleep even after I am gone, so she finishes up when she is done sleeping, befoer she is off to work.

and further, I usually am a wadder with the blankets a I throw the covers back over my pillow. I don't normally take time to fold them up perfectly, especially since my wife is still in bed. :) hehehheheee

I picked "Make the Bed Only When Company is Coming Over!"

I would have preferred it say, When CERTAIN Company comes over. :P I have never made my bed. I am in and out of it too much to even try.
*stares Dolfy down and sends mental messages not to mention how many kids I have*

It would be difficult to do anyway because we don't have a comforter or "fancy" top cover to make the bed look "made" OR pretty! We have always liked having our own personal quilt that we can WAD up in all by ourselves and be comfy to sleep. We even have a pillow that separates us cause I HATE skin touching when I am ready to sleep. :P

If we are having CERTAIN company over I will fold our quilts at the bottom of the bed to look neat. CERTAIN company meaning a church event or something where judgmental people are coming over! LOL!! Our friends, Doug and Jodi are over quite a bit. I never make the bed for them. We sometimes end up piled in our king size bed singing Karaoke or looking at the internet or watching TV since we don't have a COUCH! *sniff sniff*

so, if I read this correctly, sometimes you fold and sometimes you wad. :)

I get in weird cleaning moods every now and then. When I do, I make-up my bed. That is the only time it ever happens though!

I make the bed every day, But i wonder why do i do this?
Hubby comes home and fusses at how it is made up....

now please note 4 out of 5 days he gets up after i do, If he wants it to be perfect, the way he likes it, why can't he make it up HIS way?

I make my bed everyday. That is a pet peeve of mine, guess coz I like things neat and tidy. I could never be a slob, my personality would not let me. I would put a guilt trip on myself, LOL

If it were up to me the bed would probably not get made every day, but it is one of my wife's pet peeves also. Our bed is made daily....

as I thought - thanks for the clarification.

I voted always, but I suppose a definition of what it is to "make the bed" might be in order.

For me, it doesn't meant military-style 45degree corners and no wrinkles, tucked in. making the bed for me just means that the covers are semi-neatly covering the bed, so it doesn't look like someone just got up; and so that it is easy to slip between them covers and sheets when it is time to go to bed the neck night and so I don't have to reach around looking for them when I am wanting to go to sleep at bout 9 or 9:30.

I make mine everyday....I like having it nice and neat during the day, but what I like even more is when I go to get into bed at night that the sheets are nice and tight, the blanket is neat and pillows fluffed up....it just makes getting into bed so much more relaxing than getting into a unmade rumpled bed. (I know, I'm a neat freak  )

Why in the world would you take the trouble to make it all "nice" just to rip it apart 18 hours later. :?

Plus, who's going into my bedroom to look anyway?

I make my bed every morning. I can't stand the thought of getting in an unmade bed at night.
