age when married

I am curious as to how old people are when they get married and how it has affected their marriage.

I never thought I would get married when growing up. But my lovely wife came along and we met in 11th Grade, High School. We started dating by the end of that year and married at 20. She's been a wonderful blessing and I would do it all over again in a second. I'm now 37 - do the math!

My wife was 20 and I was 22. The age factor probably didn't help or hurt. We have had bad times and great times for 17 years this August.

Girlfriend got pregnant Oct 79 she turned 18 in Nov of 79, I turned 18 Dec of 79, We were married Jan 80. I graduated high school May 80. Our son was born July 80. She graduated HS May 81 It has been great and horrible at times. I would tell young people we are the exception not the rule. Must people do not last the way we did it but we have been together 29yrs, Married 27yrs. Even now we are more like roommates than a couple. She does her thing and I do my thing sometimes we do things together but not much.

I was 19 Nancy was 18. I was in the Navy at the time. Just celebrated 40 years together. Wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again with this same wonderful lady God gave me.
