Let me know if you need any more albums or what ever. I am getting ready to re-mix all of them and make a cd of all those into a souvenier pack.

Thanks for remembering!!!!!!!!!!! WE had a good time singing with the soulsearchers too!!!!!!

Thinking about those days. There was DrRon's group The World Challenge Singers, Soulsearcher's group, including The Smith's and Michael (was Mary Sue in it?) and Rick and Debbie Sloan and Larry and ? Linkous had a group. What was their group name? Their big song was "I'm strung out on Jesus, high on His love")

Rahab, a million thanks, dear, for this post. :D :D It made my value level skyrocket!! Amazing that you are listening to our 8Tracks. :o FYI, I had both of our albums transferred to CD and duplicated, so have plenty in stock.

Panhandler, those WERE some great times at BHS auditorium. I was so proud to be a part of such a talented group of young people, including the WCS. By the way, the name of Rick & Debbi's group was ZION'S CHILDREN. That original group consisted of Rick & Debbi Sloan and Larry and Sandra Linkous.

Thanks, guys, for remembering and supporting us during those classic "GOSPEL ROCK" days. :)

Okay, rather than have you guys send me CD's, is there any easy way to take my WCS, Soulsearchers, etc. albums and put them on my computer so I can burn them on CD's??????

I still have ALL of my albums sitting right in front of me on the shelf above my computer desk at home.

WCS, Soulsearchers, Tonesmen, Ron Scotton, Jill ????, etc. and etc.

If I had a turntable, I'd drag them out and start playing them today.

Was blessed to sing with WCS @ an auditorium ??? in Chat. as part of the Internationals from TC.

Thanks for the memories.

Honestly, I didn't think that many people remembered or were actually affected by what we did. We tried hard to work for the Lord and I guess some of what we did rubbed off ......maybe.

Btw, some of you may not know that "soulsearcher" was a member of both groups....not at the same time...

He played piano for WCS and then was with the Soulsearchers.

We tried to be trend setters.....Most of you will never know how much criticism we endured and how hard it was to get the "powers that be" to allow us to do what we did. It was like fighting city hall.

But we would not be deterred....we just told them we would go down the street and join the other group....

At one point we were told our music was of the devil............interesting that is what they told my sons and Galen Bell in the next generation when they played "Assembly....I Love It"! They got a letter of rebuke for that song........almost lost their souls over that one.

Can you post the lyrics for those of us who missed that?

A USB Turntable is the only way I know of.

the one in the link is only $100.

I need one of these. I would love to get my old Jerusalem, Darrell Mansfield, Sweet Comfort Band, etc vinyls onto a digital format
