This guy is a smart.
He took the letter that the Demoncrats wrote to his boss and put it on ebay for charity.
The bidding ends next Friday.

Rush first publicly displayed this letter on the night of October 11th during a speech in Philadelphia, having a security operative carry it on stage, with the letter itself safely encased in a Halliburton Attache case handcuffed to the agent's right wrist. Included in this auction is that same Halliburton briefcase, as well as a personal letter from Rush Limbaugh, thanking the winning bidder for his donation. The special handcuffs may not be distributed outside of law enforcement and security officers, and thus are not included in this auction.
What??? no handcuffs? I have recinded my bid.
Actually, I just dont get why anyone would want to pay that much for paper airplane material

Why? The proceeds go to Military families... so it's a clever way to give and have a ton of fun at the same time. Rush is even going to match the auction amount.

When he said that earlier in the week I thought, "Now, Bill Gates has got enough money to call your hand. He could bid $200 mil, easy, if he wanted, just to see you wiggle out of it." Not that Gates would do that, of course, but given how liberal he is and all, it'd sure make for good theater.

Yep indeed, I'd personally love to see it turn into a huge gain for the family of the fallen.

Up over $138,000. You reckon ol' Rush would have agreed to match the final price if he'd realized how high it would go?

I bet it probably doubles by auction end of that Scooter if it has this type of action already...
btw.. I wouldn't worry to much about Rush's wallet. I'm not worried about that.. but I am about the winning bidder actually paying up. So many Ebay hacks today.. this will be a good test of they're defenses.

A caller asked Rush on Tuesday, "What are you going to do if a certain wealthy liberal bids 3 or 4 million - just to get at your wallet?" Rush replied, "Uhhhhhhhhhhh - no problem."
