What do you tell your kid when they grow up? I hope this wakes more people up the the reality of abortion taking a life. Sad case, sick choice but a good outcome.

It would be kinder to let him die in the womb with his brother by his side than to die alone after being born.

I wonder how she feels as she rocks her son, looks down into his eyes looking back at her, knowing that she tried to kill him.

I hope she's grateful God knew better than the doctors, and doesn't waste time beating herself up over it.

In all fairness to the mother, she doesn't seem like a monster. I think she was following the doctor's advice and truly thought she would be saving at least one of the boys. Thank God that he chose to preserve both children for his glory.

Gees shellie thats pretty strong words dont u think? A mother who doesnt know God and went on the advise of a doctor...here is her quote:
Mrs Jones said: "
They told us that if he died, it could be life threatening for his brother.
"We had to decide whether to end his life and let his brother live, or risk them both."
They said it would be impossible to keep him alive afterwards as he was so poorly.
It would be kinder to let him die in the womb with his brother by his side than to die alone after being born.
"That made my mind up for me.
I wanted the best thing for him."
Acting as a mother and trying to chose which would live or die, i would not want that decision to make!
Thank God that it turned out great!

It makes it sound all good-hearted and all, trying to save one of her children... But it was still attempted murder. The baby was still living, they just THOUGHT that the baby wouldn't have a chance outside the womb.
I won't deny that it would be heartbreaking to know that you could lose both children. But regardless of who you are, Christian or not, or what the circumstances are, to purposely end a baby's life, regardless of how "noble" a reason it is, is still murder.
Abortionists always feed you the lie that it is "more kind" to kill the baby now rather than to let it suffer, it will not have a normal life, etc. etc. etc. Why not kill the handicapped children outside of the womb so that they won't have to suffer, and so that their families won't have to suffer. Wouldn't you want to ensure that your other children could have normal lives?
I am just so tired of people looking at killing an unborn child differently than they would look at killing a baby outside of the womb. It's so sad.
I'm SO THANKFUL that this time, they did not succeed. That baby's life is a testimony to the greatness of God, and I pray that this miracle will soften the mother's heart and lead her to a loving Jesus that holds all the babies in His arms whose mothers were willing to sacrifice them for one reason or another. That is the only consolation I have.

Shellie, you're not alone by a long shot.
Thanks teach. All I can do is speak from my heart.

You're not alone Shellie. It's tough and I am so glad that Wen and I never had to make such a decision but life is life and God gives and takes. When we do we commit sin/murder no matter what our excuse.

Hold up there a moment. Who said the mother isn't thankful to God? What is the Christian thing to do when your choice is either letting two unborn children die or saving one of them at the expense of the other? It's not always as simple as anyone would like for it to be. I think you and Shellie should both back up a tick and take a closer look.

Taking a closer look....
I see a baby that the doctors tried to kill with the mother's consent.
How could you tell your son, "I'm glad that you are here, but we had to kill your brother so that you'd be ok. He probably would have died anyway, though."
Murder is murder, no matter how you look at it.
I never said it was easy or simple. But God is the only one who can decide when a life should be over. If I decide that and take matters into my own hands, it's murder. Obviously it wasn't this baby's time, even with the intervention.
I can't change anyone's mind, and I don't want to sound insensitive. If that was me, my heart would be breaking. But I would have to do all I could do to help BOTH babies, and leave the rest in God's hands.

I would just have to put my faith to work, and believe God instead of man.I don't know about others, but I would always wonder about the child that was aborted.
My husband and I lost a child that was born way too early and I still think of him even thought I know where he is.
You know there are six things that God hates and one of them is the shedding of innocent blood(Proverbs 6-17),is abortion the shedding of innocent blood.I believe that it is and I believe that it can be backed up by the word of GOD.

Thank you for bringing scripture into the equation! You're the only one to do so.
Sometimes I forget to, especially on something that (I think) should be obvious.
