Can anyone tell me if the travel conditions between Huntsville and Chattanooga are still two lane roads? or Are they four lane now?

Very nice 4-lane. Just plan your trip so you don't go through Huntsville at rush hour. Traffic at transition from I-565 to Hwy. 72 is terrible.

I travel that road about once a month.... Since you are close to where I live.... This is how I go... Tremont, Red Bay, Decatur, Huntsville, Chattanooga... and the only two lane is in Tremont (of course) and Red Bay.... I can't remember exactly where it turns to 4 lane but it is before Russellville....

are you coming to chattanooga? If so, if you need anything while you are up here let me know. I can pm you my cell number and that way if need directions to any place or want some info on Chattanooga just give me a call. I've gotten to know the city pretty well after living here for only a little over a year.
