Thespian. Not a... never mind.
Tori performed in two acts during the recent Student Showcase at college, both major parts, and today in acting class he had to perform a monologue. The part was a rural, southern woman, and she did it numerous times for me last night to rehearse. She had me serve as a dialect coach!
He teacher and class were amazed, because she has no southern accent AT ALL, and she told them my Mom and Dad grew up in Alabama and my brother married a girl with a reeeaaallll country accent, so I just sort of "channeled" her!
(Last night I would advise her: "Now say that line the way Stephanie would say it" and she was able to capture an authentic Alabama voice.)
