For Gerald

Disclaimers:

1) I know nothing about this guy or his ministry.
2) I disagree with the inclusion of Billy Graham by implication
3) I also disagree with the emphasis upon the racial aspect of this message, though it is likely a matter of trying to relate to his target audience

But having said that, the man speaks some truth---

He needs more exposure, that is for sure.

YET

IF these men had been held accountable for the "doctrine of devils" they espouse, the money aspect would never HAVE to be raised.

Kenneth Copeland is shown in this video.

If the church world had condemned him openly and loudly TWENTY YEARS ago when he said......

"Don't be disturbed when people accuse you of thinking you're God. The more you get to be like Me, the more they're going to think that way of you. They crucified Me for claiming that I was God. But I didn't claim I was God; I just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah. That's what you're doing." (Kenneth Copeland, "Voice of Victory" Vol. 15, No. 2, 2/87)

But Pentecostals preach against those "true" evils: rock and Roll, Pokemon, the Golden Compass etc and so on.

And sit around when People Preach Jesus wasn't God expecting miracles like addled buffoons.

But you know MONEY makes the world go round. And it seems MONEY is the only thing that wakes up people.

This man also claims that Elijah the prophet appeared before him and told him some things.

www(Dot)atlah(Dot)org see Manning repents.

He does say some good things though...

" O sir, what a commendation is this of your doctrine !....Is it the same person? this spiteful, morose, touchy man ? Alas, what has "the knowledge of the truth" done? What a deplorable change has it made ! sir, I love you still; though I cannot esteem you as I did once. Let me entreat you, if not for the honor of God, yet for the honor of your cause, avoid, for the time to come, all anger, all spite, all sourness and bitterness; all contemptuous usage of your opponents, not inferior to you, unless in fortune. " O put on again bowels of mercies, kindness, gentleness, long-suffering; endeavoring to hold." even with them that that differ from you in opinion, the " unity of the spirit in the bond of peace!"
John Wesley, in a letter to a former friend.

Final authority concerning Christian belief and duty rest only in the bible itself, not in the various dogmas, concepts, and structures that the church has drawn out of the bible , nor according to Gerald Creasy.

Yet Again, Paul, You stand up and defend Men who preach Jesus wasn't God.

Jesus WAS IS AND EVER SHALL BE FULLY God.

THAT is not "according to Gerald Creasy"

THAT is according to scripture.

It is so Basic it is almost lunacy to have to fight for it.

Sacrifice that, and the Bible is nothing but toilet paper.

I dont care how many unwashed countries you visit, if Jesus' deity is sacrificed YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME.

Gerald,

Your brush has a massive stroke. :(

The first part of your statement above could apply to me as a Pentecostal, but the second part would not. My point being that you can't put all Pentecostals into one basket on any given subject.

That is without question in my book also.

I dont care how many unwashed countries you visit, if Jesus' deity is sacrificed YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME.

Think of the foolishness your your statement. If I visit an unwashed country and souls come to Jesus Christ, forsake false Hindu God's, are converted and receive their baptism. I am wasting my time.

Tell that to Jesus when He said, "what shall a man profit if he gain the whole world and loose his soul."

Gerald, I realize you Don't Care, about anything that does not fit into your narrow point of view. but again you are not the authority, nor the final word.

I am reminded of Paul's statement which I stand upon.

" to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the gentiles, for this reason I also suffer these things, nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him against that day." 2 Tim 11-12

You can continue to vomit your hatred, and insecurities. It really does not accomplish much ( IMHO) it only stinks, and is nasty and like most vomit many don't like to be around it.

BTW, the qute as indicated was from John Wesley....Just thought you might like to know I don't read Kenyon only.

Perhaps you have a problem with the English Language, being that EVERYTIME YOU QUOTE ME you CHANGE something turning what I said into something else.

IF you turn people to a Jesus who is NOT deity, you are wasting your time.

Notice how you left that out.

Notice how it changes things.

If a man turns from a hindu god to a Jesus who is not god he has traded one falseness for another.

Hatred and insecurities....there you go again adding things to, taking away changing things.

Since you have brought up Kenyon:

CAN you tell me exactly how his occultic teachings influence the Jesus you preach?

Can you tell me how exactly you feel comfortable with an occultic author as one of your top influences?

Do you preach the Faith message of Kenyon and his plagarist Hagin and their impish clown prince Copeland?

1) I know nothing about this man's ministry so therefore I will give him some latitude.
2) I agree with you concerning Billy Graham.
3) Equating the two stories is IMHO distorting the truth and placing a personal twist on it to get his desired results.
Nigeria is without question a country drowning in corruption. I know by prsonal experience having work there since 2001.
First, this money was stolen, taken without knowledge from the people of Nigeria.
Second, whether we like it or not, agree or not, when someone sends in their donation to these men he mentioned it is not stealing from them. It is not being taken from them without their knowlegde.
Third the purpose of the video was to imply that both the PolicE Chief and these Ministers were guilty of the same crime leading to the same result...children going hungry in the streets both in Nigeria and LA, atlanta and so forth.

as is said many times here in the forum: Apples and Oranges

Gerald Said:

To WHOM, sir, are you accountable?

1) first and above all to The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God
2) Second to my own conscience,
3) third to a board of directors
4) to several older elders who have proven faithful in minstry
5) to a couple of men proven in the prophetic ministry to speak and given counsel and direction
5) Financially to the IRS, again my conscience and to all those who donate to the ministry
6) last but not least my Wife

I will deal with the Kenyon issue later.. I am leaving for that unwashed country of Nigeria tomorrow so I will turn my attention to finishing up some loose ends.

Greedy Men

I object to the failure to include greedy women. Marilyn Hickey meetings are like attending a commercial advertisement. I suspect, but haven't paid much attention, that Joyce Meyers does the same.

And by the way; isn't it interesting that no one is mentioning Joel Osteen in all this?
