What do you think of a Pastor who....

... keeps a woman's husband out until 10:40pm without telling him to call his wife and tell her he is going to be over an hour late because last week he had to stop and buy ice cream to stay awake for the late drive home and she is at home worried and wondering if something happened and she doesn't know what to do???
*taps foot*
*glares at Ron*

Thank you... and how about an apology accompanied with... it will never happen again, I will make him call next time.

blaming the pastor might not be the best approach, have you not trained your husband to call you, yet?

heheheee

His phone doesn't work out there and Danny has ZERO concept of time. A good pastor would know a man that is Sanguine will talk for hours never realizing the time or considering those he loves. He would also know the wife is Supine/Phlegmatic/Melancholy and needs to know that everything is okay because she is dependent and will worry draining all her energy supply, but then again... she is so mad she just really don't care so forget it!
I crack me up.

point of note that most people tend to forget is that pastors (normally) can't read minds. if "someone" has issues or challenges or points of content/strife, they should actually communicate them to the pastor directly, conicisely and with no assumptions.

assumptions. can you prove where they were, as example?

They were at school talking because my husband confessed his sins when he finally called me.

that is a persons word for it, an aprioi assumption has been made that he is telling you the truth. still no proof.

He blamed Ron.

He claims he told him he needed to see him after school sending him into mental bouts of diarrhea due to our history of being asked to be seen later and the ramifications of that. Knowing Ron and Danny are both Sanguine and need to socialize (probably Howie too). AND knowing that Ron wouldn't leave school unless he was going straight home under strict rules of Carolyn and Diane. AND knowing Danny would KNOW I would ask Ron about it or mention it to Howie at church.... I can hypothetically assume that he is in fact telling the truth. However, we will know for sure when Ron logs in and sees this thread.

Of course it could be that said wife worries too much! And knowing her husband and the company he was in could easily assume the interactions would continue longer than anticipated, thanking God that she had no need to worry about the company he was keeping, nor the activities he was participating in, and that he would be home soon.
But then, where's the fun in that!

The wife was informed at the beginning of the school year that school teacher Ron was forbidden to hang out after school and talk by his 2 right hand women.. no we aren't mormon just moron.... so I assumed he obeyed the women in his life because he has thus far in the school year.
The whole issue is not calling me. I am happy that he has healthy interaction and company. I have no problem with hanging out and talking with Ron or Howie. It is the not calling and letting me know that is the issue. Danny gets sleepy when driving home from school late at night because he usually goes straight from work. He had to buy ice cream at the store to freeze himself awake last week. He has worked EXTRA overtime this week... so much that the kids didn't see him for 2 whole days because of late hours with Comcast. He went to the car and took a nap during second service Sunday because he was so sleepy from keeping exhausting hours. I had legitimate reason to worry. I wasn't being an over worrier.
