thanks for asking.

Receeding thankfully. The river came as close to my parents house as they ever want to see it. It was less than 1 ft from coming in the back door. The main freeway is still closed near my parents house, under 6-8 ft under water. Here are a few pics. Anything with Centralia or Chehalis in the title is within a couple miles of my folks, where I grew up.

Our church had minor flooding from all the ground water.

It has been a wild week.

here too

We had a major wind and rain storm all night on Oahu. Some flash flooding and power is out for most of the island. I am posting from Blackberry as long as T-Mobile stays up.

Intresting you bring up T-Mobile. They have a datacenter real close to ours, in the same office park. Rumor had it that yesterday their datacenter was in not to great of shape.

I have friends up in Chehalis and Centralia, the two hardest hit areas, who are presumably not faring too well. My grandparents used to live up in Centralia...everything up there is a mess. Keep praying for everyone.

Salmon picture isn't from Centralia area. We drove around a bit late this morning. The water is covering the road one block from us at the Christian Church. Water everywhere here yet and people digging out and trying to clean up if there is dry ground. Our WalMart had 8 feet of water inside the store. etc. etc. etc. A lot of people affected by this storm, some have lost their homes, and farm animals as there was no place for the animals to go.
