the countdown begins!

only 6 and a half more days of school for me! I get out on the 19th and that is a half day! The 17th is technically the last day for the kids, but they have make-up exams on the 18th so many of them will be at school and we will be babysitting...

anyway, I am going to my mom's house for 2 weeks! I am really excited about it!

what are ya'lls plans for Christmas?

This weekend I am planning to be in Cleveland, TN to spend some holiday time with my friend... On the 23rd, I am going to visit my brother in Parchman for a few hours... And then on the 24th, I am going to my aunt and uncles (my mom's sister) house for a meal... and then on the 25th, I am going to my aunts house (that was my grandma's) to celebrate with all my dad's family.... Who knows what on the other days that are not already taken..... Just love to keep busy during the season....helps me forget the 21st (the day my mom passed away)....

TW is coming down for a couple of weeks and on the 22nd my children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, and my son-in-laws family will be here for the day, . I will be roasting a turkey on Friday, baking a ham, and all the fixins, I can't wait. I love to cook and rarely have the opportunity to cook for a crowd, most of all I love having my brother with me.

Yes indeed, I will be making my annual pilgrimage to the shores of the Sunshine State. We are attempting to get a Florida style mini J2 gathering together (don't know how that's going), if we can I'm sure it will be fun. If we can't I can always blame it on Shellie :lol:

. But mostly I looking forward to the time with my sister.

We're traveling to my in-laws house in NC on the 22nd and probably spending a week with them. I'm looking forward to it! The 8 hour drive... not so much.

just a little over a week for me and then off to the in-laws near Athens, GA.

Teach, when do you have to return to work? We start back on the 8th with the kids coming back the 15th.

Man! We have 6 days left! You are lucky!

But we only have kids for 4 of those days, and one day will mostly consist of some training and a Christmas party.

Guess what, my last day is Tuesday.. We are having make-up test that day. Our principal said on the schedule it says we will be getting out at 1. That is for the central office. He is looking at letting us leave at 11:30. woo hoo....

I have all my grades in and service goal sheets completed for my Sp. Ed. students. So, I'll be ready to go, ON TIME!!!!

I guess you all could tell we we weren't doing much with all the time I have been spending on here. I haven't had many students if any today.
