I recently purchased a new Norton Anti-virus program for my son's computer. The program states that I must go online to register before it will work properly. The problem is concerning his computer not being internet accessible. Is there another way to register the product and get service?

Why would he need anit virus software if he is not online? Or is he not online yet?

That's the same question I was gonna ask.

I use AVG and Spybot and have never had a problem with any virus. Both are free and work very well.

Computers can get viruses in other ways. He has several games and programs that have been on computers that may (likely) have had viruses, etc... As a matter of fact, that's why I purchased the Norton program. His computer has been acting quirky at times, freezing up, etc...

you will need to contact symantec and see if they can help you with the registration. the problem is that virus updates are downloaded from symantec.com (Internet).
