Don't forget to get a gift for your Tech Support/LAN Admins

Postby RamboPreacher » December 14th, 2007, 5:49 pm

Just a friendly reminder that your tech support folks need love too. day after day, they get calls from people like you. you know who you are. complaining that this or that is broken or offline. nobody ever calls teh tech support or LAN admins to tell them that they are happy with the way everything is working sufficiently.

By the way, if your email and Internet is down. please email the help desk or fill out their online web form to get faster service. :)
Thanks, Brent "RamboPreacher" Hoefling

hehehehee
seriously though. it is kind of amazing what we take for granted with our home and personal PC's. it wasn't that long ago when "a computer in every home" was a crackpot idea, and when they did start happening, "who would EVER need more than 64kilobytes of memory!

I know there are a few fellow geeks here of every computer-religious affiliation (Wintel, Apple, Unix variations - are the three biggest denominations). but otherwise, most everyone else has a person in their family, or friend (maybe some of us geeks here), that helps you out with your computer challenges now and again. the unsung hero's that keep you going, even though we think it should always be going.
