Did anyone see the special about the Bethlehem Star.
I don't know too much about astronomy but this sounded like the best presentation I had ever heard reasoning out the star of Bethlehem.
Basically the show traced the happenings around the time Christ was born from a scriptural and orbital appraoch. Accrording to this show there were quite a few unique events that happened around that time period.
It seems that Jupiter's orbit was in a peculiar regiment which could have accounted for the events.
The combination of constellations seemed to tell a story. He used the terms Leo and Virgo to insinuate Judah and Mary. He also eluded to Revelation's woman clothed with the sun and the blood moon to explain what was seen in the sky around the time of Christ birth and death.
Jupiter's orbit circles a major star "Regulus?" or something like that and then ends up combining with Venus to form what would look like one brilliant star.
I don't noramlly get into such but I was just curious if anyone had seen it or knows anything about this fellows presentation.
