Hey All,

We are moving on Monday so I will be off the computer after tomorrow.

Pray for an easy transition to NC. We have never lived out of Ga before so it will interesting.

Pray for the ministry that we are taking as well that God will bless us with more youth than we know what to do with.

Play nice while I am gone. Especially those on the sports forum

They use U.S. Currency, speak English (sort of) and drive on the right side of the road. How hard could a transition from deep south Georgia to deep south North Carolina be??

I used to live not far away from that part of NC. The transition is tolerable, but only just ;)

They use the same currency only because they can't get the national banks to accept Confederate Money or NASCAR collectables. They don't drive on the right OR left, they "Take their half of the road from the middle"

NASCAR is just a touch below religion, but not by much in some areas. (ever hear of the track called "The Rock"? Yep, that's Rockingham)

Going to town usually involves riding in the bed of a pick-up. Going to "The Big City" usually means Greensboro for shopping or Charlotte for a race. There are also still some schools which give excused absences for working in the tobacco fields at harvest time.

Finally, if you take ANY of this seriously (except for the driving and NASCAR parts) you are living life too uptight :D

Sorry Andy, but The "the big city" has become PInehurst. believe it or not Or fayetteville. I have familly there and they dirve the 45 miles over to Pinehurst for the biggie restuarants and shopping.

ANd Yes THe Rock in the nascar world is/was there. Nascar moved on to bigger and better tracks. The now have a 74 by-pass now. The best food joint in town is Shoneys. They built a brand new Golden Corral but it is empty now. Not more than 4 years old.

But Hey Welcome to NC KB.

Isn't that the truth. However, since I have lived in Atlanta area and now Macon, I will adjust to some other type of entertainment.

I guess I have to learn to like Nascar
