I have strep. She said my culture lit up like a Christmas tree. LOL! She also was surprised at my 101.5 fever and how well I seemed. I told her that I have to stink it up being a wife and mother of 6 but this has kicked my tail. She said it was really bad but I should feel better in 24 hours. She said the kids can only get it if they are in contact with my saliva. Our toothbrushes are separate and we don't share drinks. I also don't open mouth kiss my kids. :o :? 8)

I got some antibiotics and a lidocaine gargle. EW!! It was thick and it numbed my lips.

Pray that I recover quickly and NO ONE else gets it! 8)

CVS minute clinic is quick and cheap.

Sam is on the lidocaine as well..(tonsillectomy).. the pharmacist told me to mix it with a little water to dilute it each time he uses it.

(I guess they use it for heart regulation so she said to be careful if there are any heart or arrythmia problems and not to swallow itb)

Pshhh.. they didn't tell me about the water. I was wondering. Yuck! It's hard gargling it back far enough.

I will be praying for you. I seemed to get sick as well. I came to North Carolina and yesterday got hit with all flu symptoms. I have been in bed since, this is the first time I have been up, I was able to get some gatorade and that has helped. Please be in prayer for me as well. I was supposed to be back home already Thank the Lord a minister in my congregation is going to take care of the service tomorrow. Sorry you are sick I will be praying. I am hoping I will feel better so I can go home tomorrow. May the Lord bless you.
