Reunion Week 1

Let me start by expressing thanks to Rahab, Paul, Billy, Rambo, One Love and others who gave money, equipment or other assistance that made our first REUNION service a huge success!

We had 175+ in attendance, and our volunteers did an amazing job of logistics and set-up. The tech guys built out an entire mobile audio and video operation in less than an hour, with a 3-camera video shoot, full sound and projection set-up. I had heard some rumblings from a few critics who said "this is all happening too fast, and you can't do something this major in a month," but I told the launch team at our final meeting that our goal was for people to walk in and see organization as if we have been doing this for 10 years. I have to say that it looked like maybe FIVE years. Not perfect by any means, but way beyond people's expectations.

I have just started to receive email feedback, but among the comments:

"The service today was wrapped up in its own theme, "AWESOME"."

"Met all expectations."

"My people responded totally favorable."

"The love and friendship overwhelmed them, as well as the music."

"One young man that has just started coming, was blown away. His words, "This is what I really needed to feel in a large scale. I will be back"!

"My family thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Especially the music, since we are sort of lacking in that area."

"Offering was above normal, as I noticed others giving to our pail. Much appreciation for that."

"Greatest area of "wow" was the music and fellowship."

"As for myself, I enjoyed the time just to worship and enjoy the music and message. Very refreshing time. Surely the Lord was with us."

All praise and honor and glory go to the Lord Jesus Christ!

In a reflective moment tonight I realized that this may have come together in just 37 days, but God has been preparing and training us for this day for several years. All our years of organizing, planning and executing Youth Camps (recruiting volunteers and managing the logistics), doing annual Home School graduations with elaborate programming and technical requirements (attended by 800-1,200 people each year) and co-producing about 10 major concert weekends, with all the details involved --- all of that was "Reunion Training" that made today seem fairly easy to organize. Again, God knew years ago exactly what kind of training to throw into the mix for such a time as this!

Hey PG,

I clicked around on your links and ended up on some of your Youtube stuff.

The "You're just out for a walk" video on Leadership gave me a good chuckle. Very good.

Your report reminded me, several months ago I seem to recall a prophecy that was given to you, I think by Alanta Biship. Such an Awesome report, thanks for sharing...

Yes, indeed. More than one person mentioned that and felt that yesterday was a fulfillment of that. Everything felt "right" yesterday. We have a lot of adjusting and system-tweaking to do, but it is all minor, "ooops -- we need to do better on this" stuff.
