Still having technical issues uploading pictures to Jude

Anyone else still having the problems uploading pictures?

They apparently have this feature turned off. Either that or the correct permissions for this folder are set incorrect.

If you are wanting to change your avatar.. you can do that thru any remote source and link it back. I actually prefer to use remote image hosting services instead of uploading to the forum server.

The dirty little secret is storage. Typically forums of the past don't have the capacity, ie - hosting volume, necessary to allow everyone to upload photos without abandon. I say of the past.. because hosting places like Bluehost.com now offer 600 gigs for $95.00 per year with domain name included. (zowie yes I've moved my stuff)

Large image uploads become a HOG on server and site itself. Etc. Just posting text is rather tiny and thus the reason it's probably off. I suspect that Jude2 is hosted for near free as a ADD on domain from a generous source.

Hopefully that sheds some light on your issue.
