When I first saw this my thoughts were how awfull, these people need training and the Spirit, and maybe salvation. Now I know it, but not for the same reasons. No I don't see this as funny, but rather sad that any one would make such mockery of the Holy Ghost and God. The intent may have been to be funny, but the results was to me if I may borrow from another thread, "blasphemy".
For the life of me I can't see how this would be pleaseing to God. I do so want to be pleaseing to Him. I just about know that the rocks are coming, but I don't care. This how I feel.

I only watched a few seconds of it. I have to agree with oletimer.. What a mockery!!!
I've seen young children do this.. but the Bible excuses them. With the scriptrue "when I was a child....."
But this, they have no excuse.

I removed it from the quote out of respect for those offended.
However, it did not offend me and I think it is funny!

Now that you've brought it up

Now that you've brought it up, do you believe that the kind of uncontrolled jerking pentecostals refer to as "shouting" (and why it is called that is another question) is normative behavior? In other words, do you envision the Apostle Paul shouting in that manner, or is it mostly observed/learned behavior?

This is probably not the answer to your post but I would like to tell you what that feeling is like. I have experienced that quite a few occasions. I am either worshiping or being prayed for. I do not recall the experience but knew I ended up on another side of the room from where i started. It is a wonderful experience. It is like I am in a blackout, not there in person. It is not of me. But the feeling is incredible.
Ahem

Nope. Not what I asked at all.

You are assuming I have never experienced that feeling?

Not at all. Some people here have expressed that feeling before.

PG I dont think there is any right way to shout if it is real. The Holy ghost could move on you in many ways, to jerk, shout, run , speak in tounges or just sit in a pew and weep like a baby. As the spirit chooses and gives the utterance..
Can I ask what you are getting at? Im asking not assuming, do you feel the Holy ghost will not move on people that way and it is flesh?
Im sure you are not but I am trying to understand so help a brotha

I know the Holy Ghost can/will do whatever He chooses. I also believe a LOT of the kind of reactions being mimicked in the clips on YouTube are fleshly, learned behavior. Sorry of that offends anyone.

so do you feel most of those type of actions are flesh? if so what would be real to you as a move of the holy ghost?
