This is my family...my mother also lives with us...but is not present. We are adopting everyone in this photo except the older blondish young lady in the middle. However, she does live with us and considers us her other mom and dad.

That is a beautiful family! What a ministry! I have a soft spot in my heart especially for colorful families.
My husband and I want to adopt down the road, even if God blesses us with more biologically. Both of our mothers were adopted, and my husband's sister is adopted also.

How AWESOME! Are any of these your biological children? The two on far right look like they could be yours.

Are you adopting the tall guy in the back? If so you need to update his wardrobe a little, he's carrying the "retro" look a bit to far.

Thanks to all for your replies...thought ya'll would enjoy seeing my babies....and yes I failed to mention that I am NOT adopting the Knight in the background TW....and yes there is a guy in there....the second photo is usually of everyone touching the "suit of armor" and then the guy jumps at you and they snap the photo....but they didn't want to scare the baby so they wouldn't do it....
Also....although several of the children look like me....none are biological.

I agree with everyone else - great looking family.
Having been in foster homes when I was younger, I really appreciate what you and your wife are doing.
Any idea on how I could locate a former foster parent? Is there any type of network or something like that? I have tried unsuccessfully before and would like to be able to contact the family that kept me, one of my sisters, and two brothers for a period of time. We lived in FL at the time.

Fostering is done through county agencies, private agencies, and religious agencies and unfortunately...none are connected that I know of.
And even if you knew the name of the agency...privacy laws would prevent them from releasing the contact info.
You'd have to try and Google them or do the whitepages.com
Sorry.

Wonderful! Reminds me of the old ABC series "Second Noah".
A few questions for you:
Are any of these children biological siblings? Are you a foster parent or did you just decide to adopt? and finally, Did you adopt all at once or over a period of time?
God bless,
pa

Yes, the four black children are brother and sisters. None of the rest are siblings....
however, the young lady in the middle is the biological mother to the 3 year old that my wife is holding. She volunteered her parental rights while she was in jail so that we could adopt him....
however, we built a strong relationship with her and now she lives with us, is saved and attending our church, and our son knows her as Aunt Alisha!
Finally, we wanted children and so we became foster adoptive parents...the county need regular foster parents very badly and convinced us to do regular fostering (foster adoptive parents can only take children that are available for adoption), since we did that...if the children come up for adoption we learned that, if no family is interested, we have the first choice on adopting the child. So we are now full with children that need adopting! And we're keeping them all!!
We've parented around 30 children in those 3 years and we've adopted 3 of them so far and working through the looonnnngg process of adopting the others right now.

Pastor Daniel, and to your wife.
You certinally have my respect and admiration. Your love and compassion toward the children is truly what Christian love is all about. Also having a very blended family myself, I admire you for reaching across racial lines and receiving these children for who they are.

My sister just started in foster care and has 3 Black girls that are all sisters. precious little girls.

Lots and lots of hamburger helper!! And lots and lots of chicken....did I mention we eat a lot of chicken...
We are very blessed....our foster association makes a trip to the foodbank each month and each family gets almost a truckload of groceries for $70.
