Guy Martin went to TC in 1974-75. Married Vivian Langley who also went to TC.

Brother Guy Martin, member and former pastor of Elm City died last night around 10 PM. His asthma was real bad during the day and worse after church Wednesday evening. His wife loaded him in the car to take him to the hospital and called EMS. EMS arrived before they left for the hospital but he had already coded. They were unable to resuscitate him.

Visitation for Brother Martin will be held at Friday evening, August 29, 2008 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson N.C. 27894 Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 30, 2008 . at Joyner's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.

I remember Guy and Vivian at TC when I was there in 75. They were a nice couple with a genuine love for God and His Kingdom. We will be praying for the family.

I've known Guy for around 18 years. He was a good man who loved the Lord and he will be missed!
