Don't forget to Fall Back!

Postby crispfin » November 1st, 2008, 3:40 pm

For those of us who endure daylight savings time, remember to set your clock BACK one hour at 2 am (or whenever you go to bed, I guess). Otherwise you'll be really early to church. Or on time. :D

Some people have used the Spring Forward as an excuse for being late to church. We have forgot to fall back a couple of times and showed up for church at 8:30am. Oh well, just counted us extremely faithful.

We don't do that here... we have plenty of daylight saved already.

you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

The secret is - No matter what you do the sun will shine only a certain number of minutes a day. You can't make it shine a minute longer, much less an hour. So quit messing with the clock!

I love getting the extra hour of sleep every fall, but hate the losing one hour during the Spring.

I wish they would just pick one and stay at the time all year long. I prefer daylight savings time actually.

So much for the extra sleep. Stayed up later, and got up earlier than usual for a sunday. Oh well, nice thought anyways.
