Misc farm pics

Sweetheart is doing great--she's a really good cow.

Here is a picture of me milking her last night :lol:

Here is a picture of the biggest chicken egg we have gotten; it is bigger than a duck egg. The picture is a bit blurry, but you can get an idea of the size. The big ones are usually double yolkers!

We got a new rooster. His name is B.C.--it stands for Big Chicken :roll: lol. He is very stately.

My kids said they would love to go to a "farm." I showed them your pictures and my youngest wanted to know how old the cow was and if you could pet her, and love on her....and if you were 'hurting' her when you were milking her!!

My girls are city girls...I'm going to have to find these girls a 'farm' to visit around here. Thanks for the pictures that I could share with my girls. :lol:

While visiting home in Kentucky, I saw Spam flavored with bacon. :D

I grew up on a farm,kind of made me homesick.Thanks for the pictures.

we had a garden growing up, but that is about as close to farm living as I experienced.

We are on a family farm of 65 acres total. We built a house on one corner of it, and my sister built a house on the other corner, and my dad owns everything inbetween! :lol:
