Sarah Palin wins HUMAN EVENTS’ prestigious “Conservative of the Year” Award for 2008 for her genius at annoying all the right people. The last woman to get liberals this hot under the collar would have been … let's see now … oh, yeah: Me!

The entire presidential election year was kind of a downer for conservatives. Once the “maverick” John McCain won the nomination, the rest of the year was like watching a slow motion car crash. Except at least a slow-motion car crash is occasionally entertaining. So it was going to be a long year.

I still love her......with all her gaffes (?) she was still intelligent enough and brave enough to speak without a teleprompter....and didn't bring a "Joe the Plumber" to the national spotlight.

She would be a great president......that ought to get something started.

Why do so called non-believers always bring up such riduculus nonsense to try and combat Christians?

My comment was because you certainly were acting like the Copyright police.

So you believe that your police work has proven DeWayne's faith in Christ to be void? That is of course what you were implying when you said

I don't expect Christians to care about the law any more than anyone else does.

Your comment implied that he was just a sinner like all other non-believers and that their is no difference in the two groups.

It's good now. To post a few lines and then provide a link to the article complies with Fair Use law. To scrape large sections of copyrighted material (e.g., a whole article, half an article, large paragraphs, etc.) from their source without permission is a violation.

The rule of thumb I use is not to quote any more than is customary in scholarly works, which don't typically quote large sections, except by permission, and to provide full attribution. What DeWayne now has in the lead post of this thread is a good model. The host site and advertisers there are trying to make a living, and DeWayne's quotation encourages those who are interested in the content to visit the site in order to get it.
