Local weathermen are predicting it to be around 27 degrees tonight here in Melbourne. I have to be at work early tomorrow because we have a class and the other class coordinator has to take her Mom for some medical tests. I have heard that layering your clothing helps you stay warm but for us in Florida layering means wearing shorts and T-shirt over your bathing suit. 
I don't own any heavy coats, gloves, boots or knit caps so I guess I will put my clothes on over my flannel pjs, and then I will wear my flannel bathrobe over everything to go to work. I might look like a bag lady but I hope I will be warm.

We had 65 Monday and 35 today, no snow. At work I layer my clothes. anklet socks and knee socks, thermal top and bottom, uniform, turtleneck, heavy jacket and my rain pants as windbreakers, thick fur hat with ear covers and the fingerless gloves. Saturday we are supposed to be back at 65 degrees.

Reminds me of a time when my wife and I were out of town and decided to stay later that night for an outdoor event. The temps plummeted and we had to run to local mall to buy some warmer clothing.

I dont mind the cold as long as it is dry. I rode my motorcycle in to work and it was 30 when I left the house.

Do you know what the wind chill will reduce to when you are at driving speeds? Brrrrr.. You must be dressed in a heated zip lock leather suit? Zowie.
The same goes for extreme heat. I once nearly experienced dehydration as my stomach starting cramping and brother said that I turned ghost white...
Moderate temps allow you to ENJOY the experience.

i woke up this morning in Mount Vernon, Ohio(just north of Columbus) and it was a -4 degree...burrrr that is cold!!!!

All's, I can say is...I'm glad I live in MI.
Its a balmy 3 degrees out. I think it got colder in Crossville, TN the other day then it was here.
