Us Too! (Great Sunday)

A man in his seventies... a man in his sixties... and man in his thirties... and woman in her late twenties... two teenage girls - all these were saved yesterday at New Life during our Palm Sunday Celebration. Who cares about what the statistics say about adults not coming to Christ? When the Spirit of the Lord opens their eyes to their lost condition they will still come. We are thrilled at what God is doing and praising Him for the souls saved and the for packed house yesterday.
We can hardly wait until Friday for the Good Friday service, and for Sunday for the Easter Sunrise service, and for the pancake breakfast following, and for the Easter Celebration when we'll focus on resurrection power - for Christ, and for us!
I am personally struck with the fact that this is a wonderful time to share the hope and the truth of the gospel. People are hurting, jobs are being lost, bad news is everywhere - but we have the answer and people are willing to listen! What a great time to be ministers of the Gospel!
