Hey I just wanted to share the great news from our local church.
Since the beginning of March we've only had one Sunday under 100, which was 97.
Yesterday we had our largest "normal" Sunday am, which means excluding fish fries, Christmas, Easter, etc., attendance of 144.
We have won another whole family of 5.
Saturday our ladies had a successful ladies day with 76 in attedance! Congrats to Shellie!! Great job!
Rejoice with me...

I do rejoice with you and you give credibility to the fact that a long term pastorate is essential in the growth of a church. You have been there, weathered the storms, birthed the babies, grown the kids, lifted the spirits, softened the hearts (sometimes yours) and brought leadership to chaos...
I applaud you, your family, and your dependence on God....it is He who gives the increase.
Bravo and thank God.....

How far can 200 be now? (Yeah, numbers matter because people count.) Keep on doing what you do.

Response: We have had 296 on a record breaking day before but we didn't have the room for everyone.
I have fit 170 pew chairs into the sanctuary but the childrens nursery gets crazy.
I would say that we could function between 170-200 but it would be tight.
I'm looking at a double service solution when we get to that point.
I've called a fellow about doing some earth work for us to fix up some more parking.
All good problems!

sweet but you should think of planting at least 5 churches from the one.
Shoot, you could start your own little denomination or splinter.

Congrats. Time to start entertaining a building program.
Church Ceiling Syndrome.
When you are consistently filling your seating capacity to 70 - 80 % its time to consider getting a larger facility.
Our church suffered from this for over 30 years.
I am so looking forward to our new building.
We would be running 110 -120 and them back to 70 -80
But as Pastor Ron mentioned Pastor changes affected it also.
