I have sinned Mightily

I went to my parents last night and we was talking about blackberry cobblers. My momma had made a blueberry one and I ate a piece...but it just wasn't the same.
As we all (dad and my son and mom) were on our way to the airport to watch the air show and the fireworks I coulda sworn that I seen a blackberry bush with a bunch of red berries on it. I said something about it and my mother said that she thought that I was imagining things. Besides 4th of July was the day to start picking them blackberries. She continued on to say that since they hadn't had enough rain that the blackberries wouldn't be any good. They would be all dry and not any count.
This morning (after spending the night) after breakfast I went out there to the corner right by their house to see if any of them blackberries that my mother was sure that I was imagining was ripe. My mother decided that maybe I had seen some but the bushes couldn't be much or have enough fruit on them to make a cobbler.
OH YEAH BABY!!!
I picked a grocery bag full and brougt them to my momma. I asked her if that was enough cause there was some more if she needed them.
I also said that I was hoping she could make a cobbler out of them for lunch today...but if she didn't want my imaginary dry blackberries I could make something out of them when I got home in a few hours.
She stumbled into the kitchen and knocked the thing out...buttermilk buscuit dough and all...she said she wasn't gonna have much faith in them blackberries...I did...I had been licking the juice from my fingers when I was picking them.
She backed it and it appeared to be a tad undone (it was a bit) and she said that she was right...the thing didn't bubble up or anything...the blackberries must be dry.
So I went in the kitchen in a bit when I thought it might be cool and dished some out...the bottom was a puddle of wild blackberry juice. ooooooohhhhhh
I, after tasting a spoonful, told her it was poison and no good at all...My Dad the loudmouth told my mamma that there was plenty of juice.
She came and got her own bowlful...
It was Gooood...and that is the sin I committed...I ate way too much of my mamma's blackberry cobbler...
Doesn't a person first need to feel guilty before they can repent?
