Less padding on your REAR seat?

Postby Shellie » September 3rd, 2009, 5:01 am

I know that several of us have shared our weight loss prayers and accomplishments the last few years.

Got anything you'd like to share?

I am down 36 pounds since the first of March. Please keep me in your prayers. Injuries from the car accident has put me out of going to the gym until the doctor releases me but I am pressing forward!

SparkPeople

Postby setmysight » September 3rd, 2009, 5:57 pm

My sister shared a free, online site for tracking exercise, weight, and nutrition - http://www.sparkpeople.com. I love a checklist, so this has worked well for me. Includes meal plans and work out plans, tracking up to 70 essential nutrients/vitamins, and can be tweaked for special diets - pretty complete.

Here is why it is free (from their website):

This site really is free– with no strings attached. Over 5 million people have joined SparkPeople to lose weight and make healthy lifestyle changes. Major media outlets like Good Morning America, The Today Show, and People Magazine regularly feature successful SparkPeople members and talk about how this is a completely free site.

SparkPeople can be free because my wife and I were very early eBay employees and are now using our earnings from its success to make the world a healthier place. This is our way to give back and help the world. Thousands of new people join every day and don’t pay a single penny. In fact, the majority of our new members join SparkPeople after hearing about us from their friends.

SparkPeople is an easy program to follow – you can choose whatever pace fits your lifestyle. People tell me every day that this site has changed their life. I’ve seen it happen so many times that I know you could be next! We will help you learn the secret formula that starts with small steps and leads to a healthy lifestyle change.
