Public Service Announcement

I have received some calls and requests that I contact some certain individuals within TCoG for their testimony concerning the Kaufman baby death. It seems that the Q&S committee has "investigated" without speaking to all that were present in that room and have concluded that both babies were still born and they prayed one back to life (only one).
I am not going to pursue any communications with the people that I have been asked to. These people are long standing ministers in TCoG and TCoG members, ministers, and overseers that want to speak with them have had every opportunity to do so on their own. You have their contact info readily available to do so now if you choose. They know the truth and their testimony will weigh heavily but that's not my responsibility to gather.
I am not a member of TCoG, will not be, and do not choose to be. You must fight your own battles with your politicians, committees, etc. The men of your organization have a voice and they need to use it. If they are not willing to stand up and be heard in front of their peers, fellow members, and the ministry as a whole then why have a voice?
I still want and pray for justice for the Kaufman children and hope fore grace for Sam and Tammi. Everyone involved needs prayer indeed.

There was no report by the questions and subjects comm. stating anything of this nature. This is a misunderstanding.
Q&S never made any statements as a comm. regarding the baby at all.Matter of fact somone did state the one that lived was born either dead or had problems but they prayed and the baby was fine. The one that died was born with No problems at first. This is what I was told by someone but has NOTHING to do with the Q&S.
Danny who ever told you that misled you or took the statement regarding the living baby out of context.
If I were you If someone calls you about this tell them you do not want to talk about it.I am not sure who called you before you called me. As you know I heard something similiar but it is not true. I believe a statement made by someone was taken out of context.
Again the COmmittee is not making any such statement or claim at all. They are only making a statement regarding the response to the reporter that we do not feel it is wrong to go to doctors, that is it. Nothing about the situation or problem.

As to clarify I am not saying Danny made this up at all. I did hear a very similar story the other day. I am saying that I talked to the comm. and this is not the case. Someone (not sure who but have a idea) took part of the story regarding the situation and made it seem as if the Q and S were stating this. It has nothing to do with them at all.
They are going to commend him for publicly clarifying that the TCOG does not believe it is wrong to go to the doctor.
Someone told me and Danny some misunderstood info. That is why I clarified.

My nephew had a recent bout with the flu (it may or may not have been swine). But, he is much better and has been fever free for a few days and has received a doctors release stating he is not contagious. He continues to have a persistent cough and his parents were going to take him through the healing line at TCOG general assembly Friday night. General Overseer, Stephen Smith told my brother-in-law that it would not be a good idea to bring him through the healing line because several are concerned about him being contagious.

He said that he would pray for him somewhere else.
Now let me be clear...
In the New Mexico hotel room, a baby was allowed to die in the name of divine healing. But, on the floor of the general assembly someone that might be contagious is not allowed to go through the healing line out of fear of others becoming infected.
In New Mexico... Brother Smith put the doctrine of divine healing above the safety and wellfare of those babies.
At the general assembly... The doctrine of divine healing takes a backseat to fears of public safety and wellfare.

I appreciate your prayers.
This is all just amusing to me.
Just want anyone and everyone to know that I am not affiliated with any of these groups. Most of my family and my wife's family are. But, we seperated a few years ago and are now attending what they call the "elders church."

If this be the case then all I can say is "pathetic" Sad, the mockery that is being done in the name of "Religion". Which is how I view these type of attitudes. No matter what the name of the organization is.

Personally, I think that is probably best for your spiritual growth during this time.
But, still, out of respect to your families, it seems that the treatment should have been a little more reasonable and equal.
Oh wait, I temporarily forgot what group we are talking about here.
Nuff said!

Thanks for sharing that MR. T and outing the hypocrisy that goes on without any public outrage or GA outrage.

Bro Terry first of all, I mean this in no offense to you, I don't think I know you personally but have heard many good things about your family and read good things from you here in this forum. I just want to try to clarify a few points. Your sister went to the other forum and requested prayer for her son who had been diagnosed withType A virus most likely swine flu,(her words) I and many others felt her anguish and hit our knees in prayer for them, she came back said how much better he was doing but (I don't remember exactly) something about other children she had were getting sick but not as bad as him.
Ok, the Assembly is being held in Tennessee where children have died from this and they are trying to keep it under control, it seems to be harder on the very young, so are really on high alert so to speak. My daughter as well as many others are attending the Assembly with infants and children, and absolutely knows God is able to protect them but also trying to use Godly wisdom by keeping them away from anyone who may be contagious.
If our GO in any way hurt their feelings I am sorry, that should not have happened, but also try to realize many had read what she wrote and I think had probably voiced their concerns to him. I wasn't there I don't know. Maybe he didn't handle it right I don't know that either but under circumstances probably did what he thought was best. Also remember she was not the only one there that people thought was contagious, but this makes it sounds like she was being picked on and I sincerely hope not and don't believe she was.
Some here on this forum seem to thrive on bad news about TCOG (not you) and of course this saddens me, I would rather they pray for us if they hear something is amiss and you know sometimes they don't hear it right the first time as this thread started out. God Bless

These seem to be two different senerios. One: children being at the assembly, mixing together with some that might be contagious. Two: taking a child through the healing line to be prayed for.
Also remember she was not the only one there that people thought was contagious.
Where these also told not to go through the healing line ?
From one looking in from the outside of XXCOGXXX I just see a double standard. Also in light of everything posted here concerning this situation, I see an organization scrambeling to cover themselves from responsibility.
Just MHO
