What is your weather today? How much snow do you have and how much is predicted in your area? Here in Norfolk our prediction is 10-16 inches. That would paralyze this area. I have been here for 23 years and the most I have ever seen at once is 6 inches.

My brother lives just north of me in Hendersonville, NC and about 2 hours ago they had about 3 inches of snow and were expecting about 12 inches total. Here in upstate SC, we are expecting about 3-6 inches of snow and possibly 1-2 inches of ice. Oh Lord, please let it be all snow.

Here in Greensboro, NC

( site of the 2010 International General Assembly)

They are calling for 6-12 inches.

We have almost an inch on the ground now.

It started at about 6pm.

No snow yet

I'm about 50 miles north of Billy, and we've got nada. It looks like the storm is tracking too far to the south.

Clear skies and a balmy 71 degrees here. Believe it or not, I'd love to be in that snow!

Well we have about 8 inches on the ground. and its still coming down. More ice than snow. the real fine stuff.

Bitter cold. Wind is blowing.

We are already calling Church off for tomorrow. its not going to get any better.

Also now that we have relocated we are about 1.5 miles out of the city limits. No streets get cleared out there.

Here is a photo of our patio from my office door.

perfect Iowa winter day:
13 degrees, windchill of about 7
low of 4, high of 14
average wind is about 3 mph from the south. (gusting to 10)
79% humidity, dew point 8
barometric pressure at 30.24"
Still have 8 or so inches of the beautiful white stuff on the ground.
