My cell phone contract has expired. I am thinking of looking for an Iphone. I need to know about it. Is there a webpage that can give me info as to use and prices? Thanks.

I'm not MacUser

Here's the site:

http://www.apple.com/iphone/

Just talking to someone today about iPhones and we both agreed that it was the single tech device that we have used the most and had the best customer satisfaction from.

Absolutely my most used device. It's like a Swiss army knife.

Give it a try. On it right now....

have one. it's a really great gadget. :) lots of kewl and useful things, adn lots of games and entertainment features. a few issues I have, that make me miss my blackberry:
1. this is the first time I have ever had dropouts, and it is very frustrating. I can sit in my chair in the office and have full bars, turn around get up and walk three steps and have no bars - weird.
2. when traveling, there are many times signal strength is gone (no bars) for extended periods of time.
3. "enterprise" issues. I have lots and lots of dial in- meetings, when I go to my calendar, when I have an appointment, I can't just scroll to the phone number in the calendar, and select it to dial (BB allowed this). Have to go back, select the phone and dial the number, or select from contacts (so I have to have all the dial in numbers as contacts), and with numbers and passcodes, this is very, very frustrating.
3a. iTunes is required for activation, and is not (in my opinion) very friendly. you can only sync to one system, unless you hack other systems, even then it is somewhat intermittent.

with that said, I do like mine. even with all the above said, there is a redeeming feature. Logos, www.logos.com, has an app that allows me to access and use my L4 library; so i think I am going to keep it (at least for now). :) BTW - another useful app is the Bible Reader and all teh resources available at www.olivetree.com.

App update

Found a local dealer for the IPhone. Gonna go Wednesday on my day off and check it out.

Congrats! My 76-year-old father-in-law got an iPhone last week and has been loving it. He learned the basics in an hour. :D

Ohh.. enjoy. Grab this APP quickly from the App Store.

1) "ShopSavvy". It lets you scan barcodes and locate the cheapest source to buy online. I love it when shopping.

Then these extras are neat to point out just a few...

2) Dictation - Dragon Dictation. Coverts you speech to text so you can email faster.

3) BibleReader - Olive Tree Software. Nuff Said.

4) Flashlight 2.1 - Gives you a quick light in the dark

5) iheartradio - listen to radio anywhere

6) WebMD - Gives you great medical info.

To just highlight a few... FREE APPS.
