i may not be old enough to remember, but I chose this organization with lots of research, so HT was a part of that history.

I remember him. There use to be a program called "The Joe Pine Show". It was like an early version of the Tonight Show. It was on Saturday Nights. Homer Tomlinson appeared one night with his "Crown" and was draped with the church flag. Joe Pine really ridiculed him. I wonder why?

H T was another example of a continuing saga of men wanting the prize before them, General Overseer. When he was overlooked for his younger brother, M. A., he just organized his own church and declared himself overseer and apparently much more.............
Where have we seen this more recently? Will it happen again?????
Time will tell.

OH YEAH!!! It has happened MANY times over (btw: I happen to believe that AJT fell into that category back in '23, as well) AND will CONTINUE to happen over and over againa as long as we live on this earth and deal with humans and the sinful nature that continually raises it's head. It AIN'T just in COGOP, either!!! It happens in most denominations on the local, state, district, national, and even international level. It happens with televangelists - ask Shuller, Jr.
