One of the greatest saints I've ever known is now in the presence of her Savior. I have never heard a single negative word from her nor about her. Sis. Hawkins will be missed.

I've been sitting here this morning remembering her. She was a quiet lady who seemed to be surrounded by a peaceful spirit. I never heard her raise her voice. Just before my Mom died she told me that if I ever had a problem that there were a few people that she trusted completely. One of those people was Mable Hawkins. I valued her prayers for me.

She was mother and aunt to my friends. She was the spiritual mother I needed in the months after my Mom died. She was the example for all young women to follow. She leaves an inheritance for her family that is far greater than any amount of money. She has shown them the path to God.

May you rest in peace with Jesus, Mother Mable Hawkins.
