The above link is surreal in light of the crash today that took the lives of the Esh family on I-65 in KY.

Been reading about the crash on and off this afternoon and then later tonight. I can't bring myself to watch any video of the scene. It's just too much.

Tim,

It's not of the accident scene. The video is of the family singing a song about going home (heaven). It was posted back in December. It seems the family had lost a son to death, etc.

Ahhh. I still don't think I could watch that. I've met quite a few Mennonites here and there over the years and in my view, you won't find a better bunch of folks. I have a very high regard for them, and they put skin and bones on their faith in ways that just blow me away with admiration. They have peace today that we can't even imagine.

The Esh family had a buisness which built small storage buildings.

The week before the accident, my mother and two of my sisters traveled to Burksville, Ky. and my mom purchased a building from these folks.

My Mom and sisters were impressed at how nice this family was.

When we heard this on the news, we were so saddened.

Also my neice is a social worker for the state of KY, and had to find placement for the two surviving children.

So sad.
